Trekking route from Baltal is also busiest but not as much compared to Pahagam trekking route. Nowadays people dont have so much time so focusing on darshan people started using Baltal route for trekking. But the old and traditional route is Pahagam so first timer Amarnathji trekkers prefer to go from Pahalgam route and return from Baltal.
There are two options to reach the holy cave from this route depending which mode you select. If You go by Helicopter then Neelgrath is the only base point now and if you go by trekking then Baltal is the only base Point.
