Amarnathji Yatra Shrine board authority has started Amarnath Yatra On Spot Registration for year 2019 devotees. Means all the pilgrims who are interested to visit shri amarnathji cave in 2019 can get easily registration in last minute. This process was Started few years back only. This is Very famous step of Amarnathji Shrine Board and Lakhs of Pilgrims get the benefit every year. There is Limited quota for On the spot registration for Amarnath yatra Year wise.
The procedure to have Amarnath Yatra on spot registration started few years back only. In 2019 this process will continue. Since this is Last Minute Procedure so we will suggest try to to make general registration 0r group registration. If You dont get any registration then you can try for Amarnath Yatra on Spot Registration. In this type of Registration you face lots of problem to get permit because of lack of infrastructure and proper planning..
During on the spot registration process you must have valid id proof, Minimum 4- 6 photographs, Original medical certificate & Application cum registration form for Amarnath yatra 2019 .
Once you have all this then just go in que & wait for your turns. depends upon the que , it may take 8- 12 hours 1 day to have your registration, because most of sadhus, mahatma, and other persons who suddenly come for the yatra wait in que, so que gets bigger & bigger as time passes. if you have enough time then you can opt for on the spot registration.
Guidelines for On-Spot registration for Amarnathji Yatra– 2019
1. Amarnath Yatra On Spot registration shall be done in Srinagar at TRC, Nowgam and in Jammu at Jammu Hatt; Gita Bhawan/Ram Mandir, Purani Mandi; Vaishnavi Dham/ Saraswati Dham.
2. The staff for registration shall be provided at each location/ counter by the Organizations mentioned below
A. Location/ Counter – TRC, Nowgam
Name of the organization which would provide manpower – Director, Tourism, Srinagar
B. Location/ Counter – Jammu Hatt
Tourism Department and Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board.
C . Location/ Counter – Gita Bhawan / Ram Mandir, Purani Mandi
District Administration, Jammu
D .Location/ Counter – Vaishnavi Dham and Saraswati Dham
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
3. The number of pilgrims to be given Amarnath Yatra On Spot registration shall be strictly as per the date wise and route wise vacancies available, to be intimated by Additional CEO, SASB to Director, Tourism, Nowgam (in respect of TRC, Nowgam); to Director, Tourism, Jammu (in respect of Jammu Hatt); to Deputy Commissioner, Jammu (in case of Geeta Bhawan/ Ram Mandir, Purani Mandi ) and to Managers, Vaishnavi Dham and Saraswati Dham (in case of Vaishnavi / Saraswati Dham).
The number of vacancies shall be communicated at least three days in advance of the date of Yatra from Baltal and Chandanwari routes. To illustrate, the number of Yatris to be granted On-Spot registration for 29th June (day on which the Yatris will cross Domel and Chandanwari Control Gates) shall be communicated to the aforesaid authorities on 26th June 2017. Under no circumstances, shall On-spot registration exceed the date and route wise number communicated to each On-spot registration Counter.
4. The Yatra Permit (YPs) for each day and route, which will be used for On-spot registration shall be handed over by an authorised representative of the Shrine Board to
(i) Deputy Commissioner, Jammu;
(ii) Director, Tourism, Kashmir;
(iii) Director, Tourism, Jammu;
(iv) Managers, Viashnavi Dham and Saraswati Dham by June 2019.
5. Amarnath Yatra On spot Registration and issue of Yatra Permits shall be done on firstcome-first-serve basis subject strictly to the applicant furnishing a valid Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC).
Deputy Commissioner, Jammu shall appoint a Registration Officer for manning the On-spot counter to be set up at Geeta Bhawan/ Ram Mandir, Purani Mandi.
Likewise, Director, Tourism, Kashmir, shall appoint a Registration Officer for the On-spot counter to be set up at TRC, Nowgam. Director, Tourism, Jammu, shall appoint one Registration Officer for the On-spot counter to be set up at Jammu Hatt.
Managers, Vaishnavi Dham and Saraswati Dham shall be the Registration Officers for the On-spot counters to be set up at Vaishnavi Dham / Saraswati Dham.
6. Step by step Registration Procedure :- The detailed procedure for issue of Yatra Permit is given below: Yatra Permit (YPs) bearing the symbol Baltal shall be issued for the Baltal Route and those bearing Pahalgam shall be issued for the Pahalgam Route.
(i) For each day and route, the colour of the YP will be different; the following colour scheme shall be followed:
ii) Yatris will have to submit Application Form and Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) to obtain On-Spot Yatra Permit for the Yatra.
iii) The Format of the Application Form and CHC is available at Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board’s (SASB) official website

The Application Form and CHC shall be made available to the applicant-Yatris free of cost.
iv) One Yatra Permit shall be valid for registering only one Yatri.
v) No one below the age of 13 years or above the age of 75 years and no Women with more than six weeks pregnancy shall be registered for the Yatra.
vi) To apply for the Yatra Permit, the applicant-Yatri will submit the following documents to the Registration Officer:
a) filled-in prescribed Application Form; Download From Here
b) copy of the prescribed Compulsory Health Certificate issued by the Authorised Doctor/ Hospital; and
c) four passport sized photographs.
vii) The Registration Officer shall check the following:
a) whether the Application Form has been correctly filled-in and signed by the applicant-Yatri;
b) whether the CHC has been issued by an Authorized Doctor/ Medical Institutions;
c) whether the CHC has been issued on or after 01st March 2019
viii) If the Applicant’s Form and CHC are in order, the Registration Officer shall issue a YP to the applicant against a payment of Rs 150/- (one hundred and fifty rupees) per Yatra Permit Fees.
ix) The Registration Officer shall affix passport size photographs and fill-in the YP on the spot as per the details mentioned in the Application Form and CHC. The Registration official shall stamp / write the Yatra year and day of Yatra and paste the day and year so written / stamped with transparent tape.
x) The Registration Officer shall sign and apply the Registration Officer’s Seal (departmental seal) on the YP in such a way that the Seal is imprinted on the photograph of the applicant-Yatri as well as on the YP.
xi) The Registration Officer will consolidate the total number of OnSpot Yatra Permits issued during the day and e-mail the data at to the SASB, date-wise and route-wise, by 8 p.m. every day.
xii) It must be ensured that proper rrecord of Registration is maintained and the Application Forms and CHCs in respect of all Yatris registered at the counter shall be returned to CEO, SASB by 15th SeptemberAugust 2019.
xiv) The Registration Fee collected (Rs 150/- one hundred and fifty rupees per Yatra Permit) on account of On-Spot Registration shall be deposited on daily basis in SASB’s Account
xv) At Geeta Bhawan/ Ram Mandir Purani Mandi: only Sadhus shall be registered free of charge (identification of Sadhus shall be the responsibility of the District Administration). The Sadhus will be registered only when they furnish a valid CHC issued by the Doctor/ Institute authorised by the J&K Government. In this context, the District Administration shall make arrangements for medical examination and issue of CHC to sadhus at Geeta Bhawan /Ram Mandir, Purani Mandi
