Step-by-step procedure on how to register for the Amarnath Yatra as an NRI:

Step 1: Obtain a Medical Certificate

The first step is to obtain a medical certificate from a registered doctor in your home country. The certificate must state that you are fit to undertake the pilgrimage. You can find a list of approved doctors on our website.

Step 2: Fill Out the Registration Form

Once you have obtained a medical certificate, you can download the registration form from our website. Be sure to provide all of the required information, including your name, address, contact information, and date of birth. You will also need to attach a passport-size photograph to the form.

Step 3: Scan the Documents

Once you have filled out the registration form, you will need to scan the following documents:

  • Medical certificate
  • Passport-size photograph
  • ID proof

Step 4: Send the Documents Through Mail

Once you have scanned the documents, you can send them to the PNB Bank office in Jammu or Srinagar. You can also mail the documents to the PNB bank office.

Step 5: Pay the Registration Fee

The registration fee for the Amarnath Yatra for NRIs is Rs. 1520. You can pay the registration fee by sending a demand draft or pay order in favor of “Chief Accounts Officer, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, Payable at Jammu and Kashmir (or Only Jammu or Srinagar)”.

Important Notes

  • The registration process for the Amarnath Yatra usually starts in the month of March.
  • The registration process is open to Indian citizens only.
  • Pilgrims must be in good health to undertake the Amarnath Yatra.
  • Pilgrims must carry a valid passport-size photograph with them at all times.
  • Pilgrims must carry a copy of their ID proof with them at all times.
  • Pilgrims must carry a medical certificate from a registered doctor with them at all times.
  • Pilgrims must pay the registration fee of Rs. 1520 per pilgrim.
  • Pilgrims must submit the registration form and documents to the SASB office or registration counter in person.
  • Pilgrims must carry their registration slip with them throughout the pilgrimage.
